1975 Giuseppe Lanzillotta, a certified translator, establishes the Lanzillotta & Partner translation office in Düsseldorf together with Heinz Goldschmidt, a mechanical engineer. The company is particularly characterised by its innovative technical equipment and modus operandi, which are constantly pointing the way ahead for the entire industry.

1982 Deutsche Messe AG chooses Lanzillotta & Partner to publish the glossaries of universally known trade fairs (e.g. CeBIT and Hannover-Messe) every year in many different languages.
1992 Lanzillotta & Partner starts localising IT products. Together with experienced partners in the localisation industry, we implement several large-scale software projects in up to 7 target languages, for clients such as Bull Computer.
1999 Frank Lanzillotta joins his father in managing the company which has meanwhile been renamed L & P Lanzillotta GmbH. During this phase his task, as a member of the next generation, is to get the company geared up for the multimedia society of the future.

2004 We move to a large office directly overlooking the Rhine and expand our team in the areas of project management, desktop publishing and translation memory management. 2007 The company founder, Giuseppe Lanzillotta, sadly passes away. With his farsightedness, persistent optimism and his love of language, his legacy was to leave behind a company which is ideally placed in the market, entirely self-financed, and which stands at the cutting edge of technology – the perfect prerequisites for continued healthy growth.
2008 Together with Markus Massísimo, Frank Lanzillotta lays the foundation of Lanzillotta Localizations, which specialises in Localisation and Global Content Management for vertical industries. Markus Massísimo, who founded his first localisation company in Paris in 1989 and headed up our localisation projects for Bull Computer and Baan from 1992, brings over 20 years of localisation experience to the company, as well as a worldwide network of contacts.
